Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), isyerleri.com.tr (the “Platform”), as data controller, informs you about the purposes for which we process your personal data, to whom it may be transferred, how it is collected, the legal grounds and your rights.

2. Personal data processed and purposes
- Identity and contact data (name, e-mail, phone, address): creating your account, e-mail verification, password management, communicating with you and legal notifications.
- Business and content data (business name, category, address, contact details, images, descriptions, opening hours): creating, displaying and translating business profiles.
- Review data (name, optional job title and company, e-mail address, ratings and review text): verifying that the review comes from a real customer, editorial moderation and publication. Your e-mail address is never published; your name appears as you choose (full name, initials or anonymous).
- Quote request data (name, contact details, description of your need, location, budget and timing): matching your request with suitable businesses and forwarding it to them.
- AI assistant messages: answering your question and recommending suitable businesses. Please do not share personal information with the assistant.
- Security data (an irreversible hash of your IP address, browser information, activity records, sign-in times): keeping the system secure, preventing fake reviews and spam, and complying with Law No. 5651.
- Analytics and advertising data (cookies and similar technologies): only with your consent, to measure site usage statistically and to measure advertising. See our Cookie Policy for details.
3. Transfers of personal data
- Quote requests: your name, contact details and the description of your need are shared, with your explicit consent given in the request form, only with the businesses (at most three) found suitable for your request.
- Service providers: hosting and e-mail infrastructure (Hostinger), the AI service (Google LLC – Gemini API) and, with your consent, analytics and advertising services (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google AdSense). As some of these providers operate servers abroad, such transfers are carried out in accordance with Article 9 of the KVKK.
- Authorities: competent judicial or administrative authorities where required by law (e.g. a court order).
Apart from this, your data is never sold or rented to third parties.
4. Method of collection and legal grounds
Your data is collected electronically when you fill in forms on the Platform (registration, adding a business, reviews, quote requests, contact), when you use the AI assistant and through cookies. Our legal grounds are the establishment or performance of a contract (KVKK Art. 5/2-c), compliance with legal obligations (Art. 5/2-ç), our legitimate interests such as platform security and the prevention of fake content (Art. 5/2-f) and, where required, your explicit consent under Articles 5/1 and 9 (sharing quote requests with businesses, analytics and advertising cookies).
5. Retention
Account data is kept for the duration of your membership and afterwards for the statutory limitation periods; published reviews for as long as they remain online; quote requests for at most two years; security records for the period required by law. Afterwards the data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
6. Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information, to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly, to know the third parties to whom it is transferred, to request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, to request deletion or destruction under the conditions of the KVKK and notification of these operations to recipients, to object to a result against you arising solely from automated processing, and to claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
